Creating A3 size reports for PDF export

Hello,

I would like to create "big" reports designed for printing. I have to get a pdf version of the reports.

When I try to use the pdf format, the report appears to be truncated to match the A4 paper size, instead of the bigger A3 design I made.

Do you have experience on this problem? What can I do?

Thank you

David

to display the report in A3 it to so easy just make the Pages size 42cm*59.4cm it will give the required paperssql

creating a standard template for dev team

I want to create a standard look and feel for my reports. I can do this from
the style perspective by editing the xml file.
But how can I create a template report that always has headers and footers
and has standard contents within them such as print date\time, page count
and a logo ?
Is there an external way of doing this or will it always have to be done in
code so that when a report is being previwed or printed, I edit the report
and add the appropriate code ?
thanks
BObHi Bob.
What I ended up doing was using the designer to build my standard look and
feel (one for portrait, one for landscape and one for charts), then save
them off to the Report Designer templates folder.

Creating a Report Model

I am primarily a web developer as of late utilizing Visual Web Developer 2005 Express with SQL 2005. I'd like to generate some reports from the data stored in SQL and like the options that the Reporting Services provides. However, I need to create a report model which I understand requires the full Visual Studio product.

Do, or will any of the Express editions of Visual Studio 2005 allow me to create a report model? I really don't have a need for Visual Studio 2005 - except it appears, to create a report model.

Thanks for any insight!

Visual Studio 2005 is not required. Model Designer is part of SQL Server 2005.

>|||Yes, SQL Server Agent is Running on my SQL Server
After multiple attempts, I didn't succeed
My configuration was
SQL Server was on a server running under Windows 2003 Server
Report Server, Report Manager, Report Designer were on my own compute
(for testing), under Win X
I uninstalled Report Server + Report Manager from my XP computer, an
installed them on server running with windows 2003 server (beside SQ
Server) => it works fine
So I still have no answer, I only bypassed the problem..
If anyone has an idea, it still would be welcom|||when you change the login name the service runs under the encrypted data no
longer works. This includes the scheduling since it uses encrypted logins to
login and run the report. you will have to delete encrypted data and restart
the service.
